The 3 Day Trend
I seem to update every three days. Why? To keep my audience (Hi Mom and Dad, sometimes Luke) happy.
Nothing too exciting, went out for Ôc` ( not sure on the spelling there). This basically is Snails (what the meaning of the word is) and clams, or maybe some crabs. There are 4-5 different variations on the snails (by my count) and a few variations of clams, crabs and etc… It is quite tasty. There is a dish with Tamarind, which may be my favorite ( though the dish with the coconut milk is damn good too (has a nice thick buttery type taste to it) ). I will take pictures of this next time I go, because it is a pretty good site to see.
Will update again soon I hope.
Until then…
No commentsAnother Happy Birthday Note
Happy Birthday Ms. Hintz. I hope it is a good one.
If you want your present you’ll have to come to Vietnam.
On other notes, the lack of updates is truly due to my boring life. I don’t really do much. I could write about how the roads are getting worse and worse (more traffic, and more idiot drivers) and how 2 foreign teachers have gotten in bike accidents in the last week, but then I’d scare my parents. If I did that, who would read my website?
No comments“No Recent Updates, What the Hell Man?”
As my friend luke pointed out, I have not updated recently (3 whole days oh my).
Why?
Well, mostly because my life is boring and I don’t have a camera to take pictures of the interesting things I see everyday. So, if you want to see some more updates/pictures/articles, You will probably have to wait. (no camera, no money, no pictures)
In the meantime I’ll just keep up with some stories., and trying to make my website prettier
No commentsI Should Have Made This Post Yesterday.
Happy Birthday to my Father and to Chiara Gandolfi, although a bit belated, as their birthdays were yesterday, October 20th.
Dad, I hope your present found its way to your hands, and gets put to good use.
No commentsSomething Doesn’t Make Sense
I put up some new pictures! Crazy!
I put up some graduation pictures and I may even get some more in the next few days! (pending camera acquisition from Ly)
Also Please excuse the lack of development. I’m kinda lazy and I don’t know how to do this very well. Its like a double whammy.
No commentsSecond Post
Still trying to work out this Wordpress stuff. Once I figure out a few more CSS commands and such it should be a lot better.
I like this theme and I should be able make it into what I like… someday.
1 commentEver Changing Ambitions?
I really want to learn how to Scuba Dive. I mean… wow, I think that might be my dream at the moment. Problems with that dream include: money, money, time.
I would have to go and visit Nha Trang (about $80 round trip flight) many times to dive an get higher certifications. While this would be awesome in the long term, its neigh impossible to get off weekends from teaching. Also I would have no one to go with, as everyone else has to work, and few have the monetary freedom afforded to teachers like me.
I need to get a morning job so that I can quit those damn weekends and do something with the Ocean. I’ve been in the ocean 2 times and I want to do so more. Now I just have to tell my brain to shut up and ignore the money issue and DO IT. (oh yeah, I need a camera too, who doesn’t want to see pictures of me in a wet suit?)
No commentsNotes and Reminders
Just a note to you all who have emailing me from this website. Please don’t. Use the email I have used to communicate with you. The email on this website is not checked by me regularly, I only use it to divert spam and for people who don’t have my personal email. If you don’t mind me not seeing your email for possibly weeks at a time, then by all means use it, but otherwise use my personal email. Thanks!
Hmm… Reminders… Uh….
I live in Vietnam and I have a vacation coming up in about a week that I am extremely excited about.
Oh, and I should have a few pictures up later tonight.
Cheers!
No commentsSouth African’s Swear A Lot
After spending a night with South African (Nam Phi) boys. I have decided that they use the word “fuck” a lot.
It is a curse, and is used much more versatilely than that. It is hard to explain, maybe because I”ve drank for the last 3 hours but it is used very often as a Verb. It is used in the past tense as well. Sentences such as “then I fuckered off” are common. I will write more about this (maybe) when I am sober.
Cheers to my latest “night out” while in Vietnam. Boo to the wussies who didn’t have to work in the morning but still wanted to go home. Kisses to Ly, who stayed home, and whom I missed very much.

Momma and Poppa
Happy 40th, I know this is a few days late, but I wish it anyways.
Now, I think you two should finally do some traveling. I hear that Vietnam is nice this time of year.
